I know they recommend their product (POR-15 Solvent) to thin it, but we are applying it tomorrow and would prefer to spray (large areas). Has anyone just used regular thinner to do this is or is it really necessary to use the POR-15 stuff? I would order it and use it, but I want to get it completed tomorrow and don;t really have time to wait for it to arrive. If it is absolutely necessary, I will brush it, but it just takes A LONG time. We are doing a frame and the entire floorpan.

Thanks!!

I would do whatever POR suggest... when I did my floor they told me that if 1 bead of sweat dripped into the can, it was crap...Take the extra time and do it the right way... you'll be happier in the end!

Thinning it and spraying reguires a class 1 resperator. You do not want that stuff in yout lungs.

Brush it on is fine for suspension/frame parts.
