: Any experience with Tamraz fiberglass hoods?

I'm looking for a 2" bolt-on fiberglass hood for my '65 Chevelle. I found Tamraz on ebay. They have a bolt-on hood for $369, but it would have to be shipped to L.A. and there is a 4 - 6 week wait. Does anyone know who makes the hoods for Tamraz? Are there any manufacturers or distributors of fiberglass hoods in So. Cal, besides Unlimited? TIA

I talked with them about a hood for my 72 and they said it would be made by Glastech

I got my Glasstech hood from Tamraz. Both companies are in the same neighborhood. I was afraid Tamraz was possibly Glasstech's "outlet store" but I was assured by Glasstech that the hoods they sell through Tamraz are not 'seconds' or flawed in any way.

I've bought from them...no problems!!! Your right they are "good" Glasstek pieces. And the story I heard was that Glasstek is a spin off from VFN. I guess the son didn't like how the old man was running VFN , so he started Glasstek. I got my hood from Tamaraz cheaper than form Glasstek direct. (4" cowl bolt on)

Thanks for the feedback. Looks like I'll be ordering a hood from Tamraz.
