Anyone know whether the silver color on the instriment panel of a 65 Chevelle is satin Silver or gloss? Also any idea what to use on the plastic lense cover to remove scratches? Thanks

Eastwood makes a plastic repair polishing compound to remove scratches from clear or tinted plastic.

How do yoo remove the lense without cracking the tabs or the lense itself?

Once you have the cluster housing off of the panel, take a small flat blade screwdriver and slowly pull back the tabs holding the lens on or just polish it with it still attached to the cluster. You could always buy a repop lens if yours is too far gone. RichL79 is the 65 guru, hopefully he'll chime in on this one for the silver color part of the question. 64elkynss
