Hello all...

Have been looking for LOUD performance mufflers for my Chevelle build, and I have heard that the Flowmaster Super 44 series are nice and NASTY. Was wondering if any of you hva eused this muffler, and what your impressions of it are. How does it compare to the Series 40?

I have the 44s on my 66. I have to say that they sound awesome. I would suggest them without hesitation. I myself,put 3in on and now I turn heads at every street. If you go to flowmasters website they have a video w/sound.

i put a set of super 44's on my 75 blazer which is basically stock other than an old school "RV" cam and headers with an edelbrock intake. The truck sounds totally different then the other mufflers i had on it and they have a very nice "bark" that i think is better than the regular 40 series mufflers. I would recommend them, putting some on my 65 chevelle as soon as i can.

I have them on my 71 nova with a decent motor and they are loud. Loud! They seem to me to be deeper sounding than a 40. They sound good, just loud. Too loud for me but you will probably love them.

Anyone know how they are performance wise?
