Hey guys, I've been thinking of what color I'm going to paint my '72 Malibu a lot lately. In a way I though of painting it the original color (Puke Green with white stripes) for like a retro look, but I'm thinking of going a little wilder now. Maybe a Yellow, Orange, or something. I'm thinking very seriously of going Purple. Any pics or reccomendations you have will be very helpful. What do you guys think?

I have always been a fan of a deep deep purple with either black racing stripes or a black vinyl top, with the look really set off by a set of corvette rallys. Ive seen el caminos done like this, but never chevelles...

I like the purple with stripes idea, but I was thinking silver or white. And I really can't stand ralley wheels for some reason. But that gives me an idea. BTW, the Elky is sharp.
