I have bought about every "panel popper" ever made. The cheap ones, the tool truck guy ones, plier style, one that is a large wedge that you slide in under the panel, I mean every one I have ever saw I bought.

About a year ago I bought this set off the Snap On truck. They are the best EVER, I never touch my old "favorites". The long one is very useful with those door panels like on mini vans with the retainers out in the middle of the door.

One of the short ones has a smaller fork on the end. I can not believe how well they work, how much better they are than all the others I have ever had.

They are "Snappy" and do cost a few bucks at about $65.00, but for the pro, they are worth it.

Martin Ive been meaning to buy THOSE poppers for some time now. Today worked on a 98 BUICK smile.gif century they too have the door clips in the middle of the door. Making those short 6in poppers useless, all I could think of trying :( to remove that door panel was that long popper posted in your pic.

Just a few of MY favorite tools or must haves are a 8in DA and stud gun. You want to strip paint, hog down filler then that 8in DA is the best. I even use it too metal finish. althou not the best thing to use it does a good job, good enough to where I can get damage pulled out enough to where a coat or poly putty will do.

I shouldnt even need to say why the stud gun but will anyway. Pulls out dents and dings where a hammer and dolly WONT reach. Can use it to metal finish, hell I use it all the time for that. Works great just weld a pin to a low spot, hold on the nail with the small T-handle and tap down the high. I use it to aid in welding, say am doing a butt weld, weld a pin to edge then pull it level to the other edge.

Thanks for the heads up on the panel poppers...Eric
