Welcome, you have a lot of friends here with that year. Great place to get information and everyone is very helpful. Post some pictures of your car. Where in Canada are you?

Welcome Rob. I'm just over the Rockies from you. Had a buddy that worked in a slaughterhouse in Brooks. "Bear" is a member from Medicine Hat. Lot's of us Crazy Canucks here. Make yourself at home.

Hello and welcome Rob. It's always good to buy a car from the original owner, especially a family member.

Welcome Rob!
Let's see some pictures soon. It is so much fun to see them before you start working on them. Is your grandfather still alive? If so you will really make him happy to see the old car like new again.

Good Luck!

Good to be here, this is a cooool site, My grandfather has passed on, and my Uncle has owned the car for a number of years, he started to take it apart to restore it, and he has run out of energy and priorities have changed for him.He called me up and asked if I was interested in the Chevelle, and of course I said yes and my wife is totally on board with the idea of doing a restoration on it too, I would like to post some pictures but not sure how to get them on here, if anyone can help that would be great.
