Maybe I'm losing my memory, but when I took apart rear lights for paint shop, I was thinking there was basically a "doughnut" shaped seal between the lens housing and the extension. The wiring would have gone thru this and kept the water out. This is not the "L-shaped seal" that goes between the extension and the body. It was a doughnut shaped seal. The catalogs don't seem to carry this part.

Does anyone know what I'm talking about, and know who carries them? Thanks

I know exactly what you talking about...Sof-seal makes them...Most suppliers should have them. Got mine from NPD, although I ended up using my originals....Just bought them in case old ones leaked. I believe they call it a Gasket set, tail housing to body. Hope this helps. graemlins/thumbsup.gif
