I've installed and now removed the plastic inner fenders on my '69, and plan to put new metal ones in. I don't want to take the fenders off, just stick the inners in through the wheel openings.
It worked fine with the plastic ones, but I'm afraid the steel ones won't flex enough to get them in place.
Has anyone tried this before? How well did they fit?
If I can't do it, I'll just re-use my plastic ones.
