What do you guys know about these home powder coat guns. One is the type that craftman sells and the other is from Chicago Tools. Looks like the craftsman model does not need a compressor but the other looks like it's got more meat to it but needs compressed air. Any one out there that has used them.

I have the one from Chicago tools ....I did all my suspension parts in a single oven I have in my garage. The bake schedule for the chrome paint I used was 400 deg. for 15 min.
I had to take the sway bars to a professional because they would not fit in the oven ....myne turned out just as good as theres !!!

I bought the harbor freight powdercoat system, went on ebay got the colors of powder I needed, bought the wife a new stove, just happen to have an extra stove now (: put it in the garage, worked great, heck I ran out of things to coat. Its a really neat trick!

Any problems with oil or water in your air supply. Looks like the craftsman blows it on like a hair blow dryer. Anyone use that type?

I've had the Eastwood system for years and love it.
