I just bought a bumper jack out of a 71 malibu and it fit nicely into a plastic case. Is this a factory case? or some newer piece. If it is factory, did the 70's have a plastic case too?

I have a '72 that still has the jack in the plastic case.

My '70 or the '71 did not have a plastic case but I have seen the plastic case in the Monte Carlo. My cars were built in Oshawa.
