Any good advice on how to get the crank gear back on?? Ive heard its a press fit...do they make some kind of too out there that would work with a pete jackson gear drive?

It is an interference fit............It should just slip on but if not ............fire it into an old pot and bring the water to a boil, empty out water and with welding gloves or pot holders carry it out to the garage and slip it on the crank.
