i have a 71 convertible that i would like to put sport mirrors on..i have had several sets that i thought would fit but they all seem too have the door angle wrong, {tilting in too far}.. i was told that B.O.P. sports would fit ..but that was only by the persons selling them , not that they would lie, i just want too talk too someone that put them on and KNOWS for sure what he/she is talking about.. pics would be great if posible..or someone that has a set for sure off a chevy mounted.. one person told me too move the mounting spot to make the mirror angle work..well if thats soo why is the drivers door predrilled for the mirror? they would not have had 2 different mounting locations would they? iM lost please HELP ME!! thanks for the sight

The sport mirrors on right side of the 71 was a dealer installed option.They are difficult to find because they are rare. The mirrors you have (I think) are Camaro or El Camino mirrors which have their mirrors mounted on the side of the door rather than the top like the 71 Chevelle. If you try to mount them on a Chevelle the angle is all wrong. I have them on my 71.If you want to see what they look like ,Email me and I would be happy to send several pictures..Bill
