If your having "no problems" then I'd say, Save your money.

I started with 12-13" of vacuum on my 427 (P/B) when I first bought it, I installed a new manifold to carb gasket, checked all the carb screws, new vacuum hose to dizzy and new P/B hose, re-adjusted the mixture screws on the carb and raised the idle to 900-950 rpms ............ended up with a steady 15".

Does it sit still when your foot is on the brake? If it does, then don't fix it. Canisters at stupid looking and a waste of money. Don't fix it if it isn't broken. If it creeps forward at a stop light, then fix it with a canister.

I had one once and it broke at the mounting point (stud) due to vibration. Since my new motor, I decided to go with a big block Vette style manual master cylinder. No need to worry about vaccum brakes now.:D

Optimum ignition setup can make a big difference too, especially with "larger" cams. My HR296 cam idled at 7" or so with 18* advance. Add another 12* from the vacuum advance can configured right and on manifold vacuum so it idles at 30* advance and it pulls 11" or so.
