Have read a lot about striping the body, chemical, DA, etc. Pretty much have that down pat. My question is how do you do the inside of the car. The roof has that padding that was factory installed and it looks like it will be pretty hard to get to where the braces are, etc. Also, what about all the spots where you really cant get to inside. My concern is that any small areas with surface rust may cause a problem down the road. Some options I have read about are Acid dip, but I am concerned that the body will come out looking like swiss cheese. The other option was to lightly sand blast the inside, and spray it with POR 15 or some thing similar. But I also have read that any sand left in the car will attrack mositure and will lead to rust problems.
Would really appreciate any input from someone who has tackled the same problem. The car is a 70 chevelle, 2 door hard top. The interior has mostly surface rust. Will also be replacing floor pans. We are doing this frame off.
