wondering if anybody has any advise on which high build primer I should use!

SPI Turbo 2K high build primer, SPI 2K high build or Slick Sand?

I used SPI epoxy on the bare metal and plan on using it as a sealer and then PPG as a top coat. the body is as straight as I can get it with some filler but there are a few high spots that I hope will sand straight with the primer.

thanks

A couple months ago, I just used SPI 2K for the first time after reading about it for the longest time on the net. That stuff sands REAL nice!

Slick sand is a poly primer, its sprayable body filler.
The high build is inbetween a regular primer like turbo and a poly primer like slick sand.

If you feel like you have alot of building and blocking then a poly primer would be best.

Ive used the turbo primer and love it!

Slick sand sands nice & really fills nice. Never used the other stuff.

I don't think the High spots will sand down.....is it the metal or the filler that's high?

the metal is the high, so I was hoping that slick sand will fill in the the little bits of low spots I have.

I would do eveything possible to get the high spot down.
shrink if you have to.

Trust me, you want to get the car as flat as possible before counting on any
filler or primer to level. I have a 5 year old bodywork/paint and it is showing signs of shrinking. I attribute this to too much laquer fill-n-sand. Maybe the polymers or newer sprayable fillers will not shrink as much.

Just my 2 cents
