We have a 72 El Camino and have a question about the front fenders or the piece around the headlight that meets the front fender. we have a gap between the front fender and the piece around the headlight and want to know how to access the screws that pull this in toward the fender {drivers side}.Do we have to remove the inner fender or there another way to get at them. I have a shop book for the 70 but it is different for the 72 it seems. Any help is appreciated , thanks.

If I remember correctlt there is 1 bolt on top of the core support(visible with hood open the others you have to reach behind the core support (backside of headlight) and there they are, about 4 of them.
Right side is easier if you pull the battery

There are 4 bolts but don't crank on em too much. They are known to break off!
