: Gap at rear window molding

I'm not sure what happened but it appears the the previous owner had replaced the rear window molding and I've noticed that there is an 1/8" gap between it and the body at the bottom corner. Anyone know how to remedy this? should it be sealed with sealant. It looks like water can pass right through it like it is now. I hav'nt played with Chevelles in 20 years so I'm learning all over again.

It might be possible that the previous owner used the wrong tape when the rear window was reinstalled and the glass is sitting to low causing the moulding to have a gap. I helped a friend repair the same problem on the windshield of his 71 and the previous owner had used caulk instead of the Butyl tape.

Leo,
The gap is between the molding and the body not the molding and the glass. Do you think it may be the same remedy?
