Hi everyone still searchin through my bins full of car magazines(and yes I will get back to those who have pm me) came across Dec 1968 Hot Rod magazine with "Chevy's All-Aluminum427" aka ZL1 on the cover--good story with all the part# but what I found fasinating was the advertising-on the inside cover was a GTO Judge poster and specs a 1969 Nova SS "The Sleeper Awakes" ad and an incredible 6 page gm ad Dr.Oldsmobile creates a 1969 Wmachine or two very cool----- well I am scouring ebay and can't believe ad #270104340887 (don't have the link) a car magazine selling for over $200-unreal--I thought maybe this Hot Rod mag would be worth a case of beer at least(Canadian beer!!!-ha-ha) are these worth anything or is that another crazy ebay auction-what's it worth--$5?$25---just curious-keep on cruising--Dave.

wow, I've got a huge stock pile of old skool car mags that I got from my dad. There dated from 1962 to 1976. I figured they wouldn't be worth much but a a couple bucks each.

Good score! Are you going to sell it?

I used to sell magazines at swap meets and every now and again I guy would drop off a box by the shop for me to "get rid of". I was never really in it for the money, just to let someone else enjoy them rather than throwing them in the trash. But, what I learned is that to a collector, the condition of the magazine or the rarity of the edition had more to do with the price than what the lead story or content was.
