Paint remover will get the paint off the trim very nicely.

You will need to be specific about what trim piece you want help to remove. There are too many pieces for detail on every piece.

Redrum Mike,
Let's start at the rain gutters, that is where the rust has bubbled the sealer and paint.Needs stripped. Thanx for your help!

Sure - pick the hardest one http://www.chevelles.com/forum/smile.gif . Actually its not hard, but you do need patience. The best "tool" i have seen for the rain gutter is an old can/bottle opener - church key style. Use the rounded end & wrap some electrical tape around it to prevent scratching/gouging.
You have to pry the trim off bit by bit. Don't try to get ALL of one area off at once. Start at the end, pry up a little & move on. Once you've gone the whole length, strt again. Eventually it will pop off. Same general proceedure works for the door frame trim if you have it.

I have real strong thumbs and I was able to start at the back of the trim piece and push it up and toward the car to take it off. I will admit I had brised thumbs for a few days after but there wasn't a nick or scratch on the trim.
