Well...this story's gonna get me some mixed reactions I'm sure! I just finished installing my seats which came back from the upholstery shop. All surfaces front and rear were redone in premium-quality black leather! Here's the catch...I didn't pay a cent for the materials or labor!! My father-in-law is the interior design manager of an aircraft mfr. and has had friends in the business for over 20 yrs. He cashed in a HUGE favor with 2 long-time friends...one is the leather supplier and one is the upholsterer who specializes in corporate aircraft. They did it as a favor to my FIL who has given them so much business over the years. The workmanship is amazing and they look phenomenal. I'm no idiot...I realize how lucky I am! He's a great guy and it was extremely generous of him to go to all that trouble.
Now it's time to make the body look as good as the interior....

p.s.--a quick plug to the company who supplied the leather...Edelman Leather has a great website and has links in their transportation section to jobs they have done including several on MTV's "Pimp My Ride".

They look great and you can't beat the price.
