What is the best overall filler out there. I have heard alot about rage gold. Also how long can it be left exposed (in heated garage) before surfacer or epoxy is applied. Work schedule varies with job. Thank you

Rage or Z grip are top line products. If leaving filler exposed for long peiods you might want to just bush on some epoxy primer.

I have nothing bad to say about rage gold. I have used z grip and rage and I have found that both go on well. The only considerable difference was when I was sanding it. It seems that the rage comes off easier, but that is just me.

I really like Rage Extreme, it spreads better and sands better than the regular Rage and Rage Gold IMO. I also don't need to use any Glaze coat- the Rage extreme can be applied thin enough as a final coat. For thicker applications up to 1/8" I start with Everglass or Glass Lite. I did use Rage and Rage Gold for years with excellent results though. JMO's
