My 69 Malibu Convertible has plastic inner fenders that are shot. Will the metal reproductions bolt in?
Can I change them out without removing the outer fenders?

For what its worth, I had the same issue, bought steel ones from Ground UP. They fell right in and fit perfect. Only change was two mounting holes on left side at top, where the inner bolts to the inner flange of the fender (not along the outer edge). All other holes lined up perfect. You also have to drill the two mounting holes for the heater control valve if you have A/C. No big deal though. I also changed my blower motor while I was there. I used the 'old' anti-squeak rubber strips and guled them to the inner fender with trim adheasive.

When you put in the metal inners did you add the rubber seal to the back of them? My plastic ones had it but I didn't notice it until one of the metal ones were in. Is it something I should put on?

Tim.
