I have a 65 Chevelle and having a hard time tracking down a gremlin in my rear running lites. They were working after a short was tracked down and now out again.
Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

not unless it's in the dash lites. I pulled the cluster out to up grade but still in the process of doing so.
Could this be the issue?

I imagine so. Your tail lights are grounded locally but your headlight switch, blinker switch etc are also grounded locally. You can have problems on both ends of that harness. The harness is a "ribbon" harness that runs under the drivers side carpeting. I have lifted carpeting on cars to find that the ribbon harness was cracked and corroded due to moisture in the carpeting.
