Who makes mufflers for a turbocharged engine?
Which is best?

Any help would be appreciated.

The one thing you want to focus on is having a straight through design on the muffler. Other then that, price and db level will dictate what you may go with.

As an example, I run the welded oval Ultra Flows on my car. I also have a set of Borla XR-1s that I know would work great as well, but I know the db level would go up a little.

the ultra flos work very well, and with turbo(s) should be a nice sound but not too loud.

Go Dynomax.

DO NOT go Flowmaster. Flow's actually are more restrictive on turbo cars and take away from performance. Go to one of the turbo Buick sites and ask them about Flow's. They might kill you.

i have the Flowmaster kit on my TType, and it runs a lot better with that than it did with no muffler at all. better throttle response, mileage, and seat of the pants power.
the only thing is that it is quiet as a stock non turbo Regal.. which i find really weird. with no muffler and a gutted converter, it was quieter than my Monte is with headers and duals with crappy cheap "turbo" mufflers.
turbo engines are weird..

Dynomax ultraflow welded here.

I picked up huge power switching directly from 3 chamber Flowmasters.

i'm running no muffler, a little loud at idle, all good after that. 3" pipe all the way to the rear. the turbo does a good job by it self as a muffler. tom

I had the same setup as Tlowe on my Mazda truck. T3 is my favorite muffler.:D I had 3" exhaust with a resonated tip on the end.

I just finished my new exhaust and barked it off today! I am using the welded round ultra flows with 3.5" mandrel bent tubing all the way back. It comes out behind the tires with a 4" stainless tip.
I fired it up and to me it sounds great. It has a real deep throaty sound and is actually pretty quiet. I don't think the cops will give me a hard time at all.
