Ok here's my problem, I got a new Jeg's line loc installed on my 69 chevelle tonight, I mounted it up on the firewall, with the rear line (front brakeline ?) on the master cylinder to the in port on the l-loc and the bottom to the line to back to the front brakes? ok now my brakes are locked up, even with the switch disconnected or connected....what gives I thought I was smarter than this but I guess not, thanks guys

What do you mean by "locked up"? Can you here the solenoid work wehn you put power to it? I believe the front brake line out of the master cylinder is for the front brakes. it sounds to me that you may have it wrong?

yes I can hear the solenoid working, but according to my chevelle manual, the one that has every pic from top to bottom, I thought it was front line to frontline on master cylinder also, but that picture in the manual shows it clearly hooks to the rear line out of the master cylinder is for the front brakes, the one closes to the firewall, thanks for getting back with me,cliff

My 69 has the same Jegs line loc. When I installed it, I checked the lines and it was the front line that goes to the front brakes. The front line comes off the master and goes to a small "block" mounted to the underside of the master, Then back out to the front brakes. I removed the first line and ran it from the front hole to the LL then back to the small block.
If you could post a picture of what you've done. It will help us see whats wrong.

That small block is your proportioning valve that regulates the pressure for disc (front) and drum (rear). Just checked how mine is lined. Front line from master to LL. Its not the rear line.....unless your working on a front wheel drive ricer.:D

ok guys, I did hook it up according to the Chevelle assembly manual and you guys were right, well I unhook everything, come to find out I also had a bad button (Hurst Roll Control button) that is why the front brakes were locking up, thanks again guys
