Hi, I bought some from OPG and they gave me the stud kind, I need the screw in type ones. I think I know why these are for 64/67 as it says on the package, but the guy told me they would be ok for 65. Where's a good place to find these? thanks. Eric

Ok, I did a search, I should of done that before, sorry. I'm just going to check my local paint store for them, but now I'm a little curious about the studs and screw used over the years. I found in the search a 65 elco had studs, but my 65 2 door has all screw types around the front window. I'm guessing that's what the elky's came with. Does that sound right? thanks again

Any automotive glass shop should have those clips.

When they went to install our rear glass on our '69 E.C., the clips from OPG were 100 percent "Wrong" (And we like what OPG has offered during our buildup). The owner ordered the correct ones (Pkg of 50-$10.00), and we bet he could have ordered the correct ones for the front windshield. The OPG ones are OK, but didn't allow the moldings to fit tight again the glass.

I know the problem you have. I needed all of my clips to be the "screw in" type. I contacted Florida Auto Fasteners 1-850-762-2179 Tell them what your looking for. The ones that were listed for 64-65 chevelles only have like 4 of the screw in type. But they hooked me up with some off of a 67 buick or something. Give them a call I'm sure they can help you...

Nobody seems to have any around here. I already tried a local glass shop and a FinishWorks paint store, but nothing. I'm going to try some more glass shops and auto parts stores tommarow. If I still don't find them, I'll email you Brob, thanks everybody. Eric
