Hey does anybody know if the 990 iron heads were LS7? What would be a fair price to pay for a matched pair of real clean bare heads? Thanks, DynoMac

I checked 3 different books and none of them have a 990. What is the casting date?

990 heads are service replacements and also came on LS6 and LS7 crate motors.
$340-$450 bare is about right...$900 or so for bolt on IMHO and experience

i bought a set for 500.00 . complete, ready to run.

Not the worlds greatest head. Like was said a service replacement or crate motor head.
