Anyone in the San Jose area know a shop that can remove my rear window and reseal it? Also, while the window is out I need the channel cleaned and any rust to be fixed and then a protectant sprayed on. I'm looking for quality work at a reasonable price. Thanks.

most any glass shop would be effective for your needs.. I wouldn't expect it too cost more that a hundred bucks.. But call around.. It's a relatively straightforward job as long as there is no ROTTED out sections. Good Luck

Alan,

It's a bit of a drive for you, but I've had excellent results with Smart Auto Glass on Dougherty Road in Dublin. The owner, Gus, has a couple of classics of his own.

Ditto about what Normie said regarding the rotted sections. My 1972 Chevelle had to have a whole new lower section welded in at my body shop. And it never showed no signs of rust or leaking until the rear glass was removed. Not saying yours will be, but just sharing my experience.

Good luck,
Bill
