I have a pair of rocker moldings with rust holes in them,at the front were they mount to the fender.Can they be repaired?
non ss and like to keep the stock look. any help or info would be great.thanks

You might look around. Someone or you could find a better set of used at a reasonable price. Also, I have seen them in nos on Ebay every so often. Good Luck!

When I got my 68 malibu it had rocker mouldings on it. I'm talking 1 piece mouldings that went from in front of the rear wheel all the way to the back of the front wheel well. I don't see any other 68's
with mouldings down there. All of my parts catalogs do not show these mouldings for a 68
they are usally a 3 piece thing and 1/2 way up the door. Anyway I left them off and welded up the holes when I painted my car because they did not look right. If you want you can e-mail me and I can send you some pictures and see if they are the same because I don't need them.

I agree with Dwaine...better off to find some better used ones or some NOS ones on Ebay...I see them atleast 3-5 times a month it seems, on EBAY.
