Hi, Just wondering if any of you body men know which side the upper control arm with the factory reinforcement plate goes on.The driver side or passenger side.I posted on the performance site and the restoration site but had no luck with any responce on either one.Thanks to anyone who knows!!

Good question, I've always put it on the drivers side. Don't know if that's right or not.

What reinforcement plate??? DO you have a pic?

I never saw a reinforcement plate. Please post a pic.
There is a thin sheetmetal plate covering one of the upper control arm forward bolt holes (on the left side I think). It's easy to see.
I believe this is part of the the "F41, or F40" suspension option.
I solved the "which side" does it go on issue with my 70 chevelle, by buying a couple used sets and keeping "the reinforced" arms, and selling the "unreinforced" arms as a set.
The plate would not be hard to fabricate.
I have also picked up a couple sets of the SS reinforcement linkage pieces too.
