Hi everyone I've got a 69 Chevelle SS396 that has been rolled. The windshield is popped out, the middle of the roof is collapsed and the driver's side window is shattered. The A-pillar is unhurt, and the C-pillar is only slightly crumpled. My question is how can I tell if this body is saveable, what points should I look at to determine if the roof can be pulled?

Thanks,
Tim

If the A-pillar is "unhurt", then why did the windshield pop out?

The center of the roof collapsed, looks almost like a fat person was on top of it jumping. It rolled into a muddy ditch and only bent the roof down the center

You can fix anything. It just depends on what you want to spend and what kind of car you want when done. Will you fill safe with it?

You should really post some pictures. Take some cross measurements across the windshield opening from corner to corner to verify if the damage extends that far. If the skin is badly damaged and the c pillar is pushed down plan on finding a donor car for a replacement roof section or skin. You'll need to push or pull the old one back to near it's original shape before changing the roof. Double check the fit of all panels and glass before the welding is done. If done properly the car will be as safe as before the wreck and undetectible.
