I've never done this before, just wanted some tips and/or secrets to doing this faster. Any directions?

I've found that a ratcheting box wrench helps remove the hard to get at booster/firewall nuts.
And unhook the brake pedal clevis and disconnect the battery first.
If you're just replacing the booster and not the master cylinder, you should be able to remove the two M/C to booster nuts and move the M/C forward out of the way without disturbing (opening) the brake lines.

I took my hood off too and used the racheting box wrenches like BillsCamino. The 10 minutes is takes to remove the hood was well worth it to me.
