You know you can buy an updated version of that kit that you could actually use for like $75 from the dealer.

I saw one of those recently sell for around 500 (couple of weeks ago). Sad.

That style of box was used by GM in the mid to late 1970s not 60s or early 70s.

I guess the same person that'd pay $1100 for this is the type that'll pay hundreds to have a factory clock repaired and restored only to disconnect the car's battery at show time, or spend hundreds to get that AM radio rebuilt even though it'll never be turned on at a show - remember the battery is disconnected. This could easily be considered 'safety equipment' at some shows and earn a couple of extra points. Kit contains a fire extinguisher, tire inflation and sealer can, signal flag, and fuses.

Is it worth $1100? Only has to be worth that to one person then they too can say, "I have one, you don't."
