It might be. BUT in my opinion a trans is an item to either buy from somebody with a national rep (Coan, ATI etc) or get it locally. I may be spoiled as I have a great trans guy locally for access who has taken great care of me when an issue develps. He also likes me since I give him the straight scoop and don't play dumb.
Is he close enough to pickup? Do you have the core required if you pick it up?

His feedback looks good but since a tranny can last longer than the feedback period and then puke I would be leary. Hope that helps. Good Luck

Looks like he lives 200 miles from me. I may just pass. I don't really know of anyone in town worth a **** with transmissions.

I've bought two trannys from Jackson...a TH350 and a TH400. Drove up there to pick them up and deliver the cores.
Both trannys worked very well. Good stuff.
He and his Dad do a lot of circle track stuff in the area and have a good reputation. Been doing it for years...

bought one from him last year, and I love it!!! Nice Guy would highly recommend him. Bought a universal GM cased th350 street strip w/stall its a great tranny, shifts really hard to when your into the throttel.:D I would not hesitate to buy antoher one from him, plus you cant find any rebuilt ones cheaper than that.

After talking to Bill, I plan on buying a trans from him very soon.
