hello, i have a couple, probably too vague, questions i was wanting to ask some more experienced chevelle people. i'm looking at a 71 chev. malibu w/ a non-org 350, vinyl seats, body/interior decent shape. in the midwest whats a price range I would be looking at? does anyone know of someone who makes a dask guage conversion that i could put autometer gauges that i already own into the chevelle.

$4-10k would be a ballpark place to start. Covan's Classic makes an insert for that year. Do a search of the Tech forum and the interiors forums to get more info. Should be a good supply of threads on their insert. it can be bought fro them or through Summit racing.

Welcome! Jeff beat me to the punch. I would have said the same thing. I bought my '71 almost 3 years ago for $6500. Depending on the condition and the specifics you're looking at, that's probably a ballpark price for a good starter.
