I am going to be putting in the correct 4 piece bucket seat brackets, and I have all the measurments. I have two questions. How exact do these measurements have to be, or can they be pretty close, as long as the seats clear the console, and seatbelt retractor. The second question I have is that when I dry fit them, and then sit on the seat, I am obviously raised up , like to the point of my head hits the head liner. Is this normal. I have read about new seat foam causing this to happen, and I am fat enough, that it shouldn't take long for me to wear the seats in if I can ever drive the car again. Apparently the previous owner just re-did the seats, so the are relatively new.

I built a clone wagon with buckets, The seats were used and I mounted them. Had the seat rebuilt new foam etc. Now the seat is to close to the wheel and I am going to move it back a little. Bob
