Many of you already are well aware of the 1972 El Camino I had stolen in 2003. That car still hasnt been found.
Well I got home from work tonight to here my parents tell me right when I walked in the door that my brother Corey, had his 1993 Cadillac Deville stolen from his work today. It may not be a valuable classic car. But it was one of the nicer Caddys on the road at that age. No torn leather inside, no rust outside. under 100k miles still. It was a very nice car, probably worth about 3500 dollars.
I just got off the phone with him and didnt really get all of the details. My parents filled me in.
I guess when he went to leave his keys were missing out of his jacket pocket and his car was gone. Someone went into the storage room where employees hang thier coats and LITERALLY took the keys out of his pocket and went out and took the car. We all believe this had to be an inside job or someone staked out his car for a while (weeks maybe?) and seeing him get in and out of it, found his coat since they would recognize it hanging there, and took his car.
These scumbags are the worst form of scum on the planet. My brother told the cops exactly what I would have said. "You guys better hope you find them before I do". I dont blame him for saying that one bit. Now we have to change all our locks on the house too since the thief has the keys to our home, and our address since its printed on the insurance info thats inside the car.
