any tips on taking a 4 speed console out to install a hurst shift kit ?
does the entire console have to be removed ?

It might make access a touch easier, but I think you can just remove the top plate. A ratchet wrench is helpful for the shifter handle bolts. HTH.

I'd just take the whole thing off...very easy to do...then you'll be able to see what the heck you are doing... :)
