Yep, I seen that on the news. The owner of the Enzo wasn't even mad about it.

That's 'cause the owner of the Enzo is the producer of the movie they are promoting and about to make him millions.

He can afford another Enzo.

I might even go on to call this a publicity stunt ;)

Jeez, keep the Enzos out of California. They sure wreak them around here.

My brother had a chance to sit in one up here owned by some gigantic computer software company owner.;) It was at the detail shop where my brother gets his stuff detailed. He showed me a video of it firing up. He was talking to the detail who explained that he was detailing it after Ferrari did a brake job. The brake job costs $35,000. :noway:

I'm sure that if you can afford a $1.5 million dollar car, you can afford to have it rebuilt when it gets toasted

yeah true if you can afford that car you could buy another, but thats where things get tripped up. even if you had the money to buy another one , farrari probably wouldnt let you. i think that was one of 500 enzos made. you dont go to buy a farrari, they have scouts to invite you to buy them, so hopefully the owner is in good terms, cuz after that i doubt they will invite him to buy another! hahah man thats sucks, cool car, but id still rather have my elky.

A lot of the original owners sold their cars, which might have been what happened with this guy. Especially since hte car wasnt $1.5 million when Ferrari sold them. BTW, there was 399 made, and 1 more if u include the Pope's special Enzo.

Not totalled. The last Enzo crashed in California, (at 162 mph!), had all the pieces (car was split in two) crated up and sent back to Ferrari to be made whole again - all for ~ $450,000. I'll bet this one goes back together for about $120,000 not including shipping to and from Italy. Ferrari's shop has real talent, and they have a lot of experience piecing together wrecked Ferraris to as new condition, and they are the best choice of where to send an Enzo for collision repairs. High powered cars capable of serious speed and acceleration in the hands of an average driver....yeah, now why is it that these kinds of cars are off the charts for claims at insurance companies?

I'd rather watch a Kennedy drive a car off a bridge, or fly a plane into the ocean.

Ok. You take a bunch of celibrities that cant drive. Put them behind the wheel of a car that will take off like a sling shot by just barely touching the pedal.

Then put a concrete barrier about 30 feet away from a sharp turn. I know its for safety but common. The camera crews did not have to be right there to get the footage they need, thus those barriers could have easily be put back plenty of feet around the track for a cushion to get a car stopped before its stopped by a concrete wall.

Griffin may not be a great driver, but whom ever put those cars at risk with leaving those barries so close to the track, certainly werent very smart either.

That car looks well in the range of being repaired, especially with the value given to it.
