BORDERBUM Mar 27th, 07, 1:08 PM Does the hood hinges from the 69 fit a 68 hood? Is there going to be any issue if I get a 68 ss hood for my 69 Chevelle?? Im worried about the hood hinges, cause I know they are different, will I need 68 hood hinges?? You will have to do a little modification up front so the 69 latch mechanism will work. Just a small hole on the underside of the hood. Be sure to use the hinges that came with it, or at least the ones that match the hole spacing in the hood. There are about 3 different hole spacings used on 68 hinges. Took a while to get it right I guess. ;) | ||
