I have some rough idea of what removing the body entails:

Remove brake booster connection
Disconnect steering column
Disconnect Rad hoses & Battery
Disconnect transmission Linkage
Disconnect Throttle
Disconnect wiring harness from engine
Remove body mount nuts
Jack up the body and wheel the frame out the back

Just wondering what kind of a pain the the keester I might run into here. I just read a post about the nuts breaking loose on the body mounts and cuasing grief. Anything else I should be wary of and account for before I try this? I'm thinking of pulling the frame out, boxing it up and bolting on monte carlo frame braces, brushing all the crap off of it, and painting it. I might even consider welding on roll cage mounting pads while I'm at it.

Thanks guys!

Hi Cam.
I am in the process of minor resto, and I was going to remove the body, but I will not. I unbolted all the bolts though from the body mounts and I did not have any problem at all. They came right out. I have the engine and transmission out of the car so I think I would only have to disconnect the steering column and the front brake lines and possibly the parking brake assembly.
