Is it necessary to adjust the engine for a 67 malibu inline 6, that was previously at sea level but now is at approximately 4400 feet? If so how is this done?

There is less oxygen the higher you go. A 4400 foot elevation might change the mixture. You will possibly need to reduce the jet size due to engine richening.
