Check out the buy it now price.
Oh, and you even get a few dings in the body to go with it too....:p
I think even with the low mileage he is over-priced. For that kind of money it would need to be in #1 condition and need either all the original paperwork and a serious certification from some one like Jerry NcNiesh (and few more options wouldn't hurt). I bet that it reaches the high $40s even as it is.
So here is a question: lets say you bid $65k with that B-I-N and while your competitive bid is in the high $50s and then the seller tries to lower the reserve to what you have set your high bid to. Can they do that? Or does Ebay have some sort of trigger that will not allow them to do that?
1bad69+70camaro Mar 26th, 07, 8:37 AM he can only lower the reserve to $1 over what you have bid.he can sell to highest bidder at the time only if they agree. been there done that.
ChaosEnvy Mar 26th, 07, 12:46 PM Lol.. its a Camero with a Crowl hood... sweet.......
Olle Mar 26th, 07, 1:59 PM And they only made a few '69 Z28's with 302 engines...
mr 4 speed Mar 26th, 07, 3:05 PM love the steering wheel
d1_bradley Mar 26th, 07, 3:24 PM If it was real, I would think that they would have posted the body tag info..... You can decode everything on a Camaro.
MEJ1990TM Mar 26th, 07, 7:25 PM Didnt all the Z/28's come with the 302?
bc69ss Mar 26th, 07, 8:01 PM Didnt all the Z/28's come with the 302?
Yes
bc69ss Mar 26th, 07, 8:04 PM Didnt all the Z/28's come with the 302?
I wouldn't really call a 69' z/28 rare as they made 20,302 of them in 69'.
I think they made 602 in 67'
66SSFan Mar 26th, 07, 8:08 PM I don't know much about the camaro, but did'nt the Z28's have 4 speeds?
MEJ1990TM Mar 26th, 07, 8:52 PM I know its not about that car. I had a dream that I was driving and ended up wrecking a yellow '69 z/28 with a 4 speed. It was fun except for the wrecking part. :D
DougA Mar 26th, 07, 9:45 PM I don't know much about the camaro, but did'nt the Z28's have 4 speeds?
Yup.That is the first gen. ones.
Junkyard Dawg Mar 26th, 07, 10:56 PM Didnt all the Z/28's come with the 302?
Yes, the 67-69 models did, then in 70 they axed the 302 and starting using the LT-1 solid lifter 350's.
I don't know much about the camaro, but did'nt the Z28's have 4 speeds?
Yes again the 67-69 models did, later on autos were avaliable.
Also of interest, a/c wasn't an option on any of the 67-69 Z/28's and even for a little bit in the 70's...
MEJ1990TM Mar 27th, 07, 2:49 AM They made Z/28's in '67 and '68? I thought they started in '69. Oh well at least thats cleared up now.
Chris R Mar 27th, 07, 2:57 AM Good thing I dont have a beverage to drink. Cause it would be all over the desk due to laughter from that Buy It Now price. Its a nice car but 165K is just insane. Buy It Nows are for selling to someone that sees a good deal and catches it before the bids go crazy, not to overprice it to the point where people pass over it as another overpriced muscle car, selling for a price that will never sell.
hotrodlincoln Mar 27th, 07, 11:29 AM In fact not only did the 69 z28 come with a four speed, you could not get power steering with it, so whats up with the power steering pump on the engine? If it's not a Z then don't say it is!
JWA Mar 27th, 07, 11:46 AM martin,
PS was available on The 69 Z28s.
bc69ss Mar 27th, 07, 2:52 PM You could get Power steering on a z/28
bc69ss Mar 27th, 07, 2:52 PM oops, I see you already mentioned that Jeff...
Burnsamatic Mar 27th, 07, 3:16 PM For that kind of money, it better be a cross ram, JL8 car with the ralley sport option.
