Would a 1970 L78 396 motor come with these french locks on the manifolds.

Please, thanks.

What are "French Locks"?

French locks keep the manifold bolts from loosening due to vibration and repeated heating and cooling cycles. These locks are stamped from stainless steel and connect to both bolts over the top of the exhaust manifold runner. Use with our exhaust manifold

Oooohhhh, sure...Freedom Locks... :)

I'd expect those to be used on all manifold installations--but I haven't verified that.

I'd also expect that the original ones were not stainless steel.

If the metal used for the lock is not hard enough, the bolt head "sinks into" the lock over time, resulting in torque loss. Not my favorite way to retain bolts, but "usually" it works ok.
