Thanks 1BADS72 Oct 1st, 99, 7:35 PM the dash is plate aluminum. about 1/8" inch thick. the riser for the tach is made of the same stuff. very rigid and very hard to cut holes in. I decided that the blower motor had eaten its last fuse and the heater was starting to smell sweet, so it all came out. I wanted something that followed the base of the windshield for curvature.
