Has anyone ever went from a two wire to one wire set up if so how it a 71 thanks for help:confused:

If you're referring to the two wires running to the original coil...the yellow wire in not used when converting to a HEI.
Also, a HEI requires a full 12 volts...do not reuse the original resistor wire which is easily identified. It is wrapped in a fiber woven insulation...not plastic like the other wires.

Thge second wire on the HEI is for the tach.

just make sure u have 12 volts, for some odd reason on my car i didnt, so i ran a straight wire from the battery, to a toggle, and then to the hei, call it a quick kill switch :thumbsup:
