I have a 12 bolt rearend out of an early chevelle. The previous owner torched off the coil spring mounts and other tabs/brackets and installed new spring perches for a first gen camaro. I would like to install the rearend back in a chevelle. Can anyone help me findcoil spring mounts, and other factory tabs/mounts for me to set my rearend up for a chevelle again? rroop1@cox.net

The ones from a 10 bolt should work as well. The Buick, Olds, Pontiacs probably used all of the same parts you need. They all used the same control arms and shocks and such. You can probably go to a junk yard and get them. A Monte Carlo, Grand Prix, Olds Cutlass, Buick Skylark, Pontiac LeMans will probably work for you.

Are you sure that it's from a chevelle? Does it have ears on the top of the center section? Chevelle rear ends are too wide for a Camaro and if the rearend was narrowed, it won't fit a Chevelle again anyhow. I'd be tempted to spend the time and money and find a new rearend.

I need the brackets as well, I've been planning on building a 9 inch for mine with two different gear sets. Finding a donor ten bolt for a reasonable price has been tough. The original 12 bolt is going on ebay- I've been seeing them sell for $1500 restored and ready to install. I just sold the twelve bolt out of my Son's Nova for $1200. Originality isn't a concern with my cars, no matching numbers here.
