WHICH '67 396?

First off, you hope they're all nicely even. Lowest should be at least 80% of the highest. Preferably closer.

Second, you hope they're all greater than about 150. 170--180 would be nice. Over 200 is too high. It's more important that they're even than they're over 150.

Third, absolute numbers are more-or-less meaningless because different compression testers will show different results. In part, because the actual gauge may not be calibrated properly.

Fourth, you need to assure that the engine is still spinning as fast when testing the 8th cylinder as it was when testing the 1st. Slower cranking = lower indicated pressure.

Fifth, you want the throttle at least on the fast idle cam. WFO isn't really needed, but if it's easy--fine. Just don't have the throttle at normal idle speed (closed.)
