hello, i have a 72 chevelle, and trying to take the window turning knob on the door skin off. in the haynes manual it says theres metal bracket u pull off with a special tool. but when i looked i have a spring! it looks like in there, and i cant get the stupid door skin off because of the knob.
any help would be great!!!

You need a door clip remover tool.
try auto zone.

well the clips on the panel easy to get, i just need the handle for the window thats on the door panel. how do u take the handle off?
